In brief
During the demolition of the former VDH Fresh warehouse in Ridderkerk, M. Heezen B.V. dismantled no less than 20,000 m² of insulated sandwich panels for reuse or recycling.
The recovered sandwich panels that can’t be reused are processed by Insus into new secondary raw materials. In this way, valuable materials remain in circulation and are given a new purpose within the construction chain.
This project demonstrates that circularity starts with careful dismantling. By separating materials at the source, they can be processed to a high standard and reused in new applications.
